Surfboard Repair Video: As a teacher, using technology is important in the evolution of education. Education has used videos since they were invented, but personal videos is relatively new. As an educator, the ability to create your own videos is a tremendous way of teaching students exactly what you want them to learn. In the past, teachers needed to constantly fast foward and rewind to use videos to teach a class. Now instead of finding specific segments within the video, teachers can create a video using only what they want to use. As a Technology teacher, I can constantly use this medium. Not only will I be teachng how to use it, but I can use it to explain and demonstrate concepts. The beauty of using a video, is students can repeat it as much as necessary until they understand the presentation. Some project examples are as follows: Construction, electrical theory, video editing, adobe workshops, and printing.The standards that using this lesson would achieve are:Standards: 1.
